Thanks for stopping by. I just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself and what brought me to design this site.

I'm a native Rhode Islander, I grew up in North Providence and was always fascinated with the outdoors and nature. That fascination lead me into scouting, where I was a member of Troop 6 for some time.  In the late 1980's I was introduced to hunting by some close friends (Paul, Tom and Dean). Since then I've been hooked, I don't get out like I used to, but I still get out there. The friendships that I have made over the years will last me a lifetime.

As far as RIHunts.com goes... Being on the computer/internet for untold hours a day (just ask my wife Karen), I felt that there was something missing for us hunters. There are a few sites out there that are great at what they do, but I couldn't find a site that offered us "everything".  I felt that, that void had to be filled.  Coming from the IT/WEB field and being a webmaster for CVS/pharmacy at one point in my career,  I knew that I could bring a lot to the table as far as a "one-stop-shop" web site went. That's when I decided to move forward and create RIHunts.com for us, the hunters and trappers of Rhode Island.  I truly want this site to a genuine resource for us.

Please use this site to it's fullest. If there is something that's missing here please let me know, I welcome your thoughts and ideas.
